Two policemen sustained light injuries in a stabbing attack which took place at the Lion’s Gate to Jerusalem’s Old City on erev Shabbos 4 Teves 5775.

The policemen, ages 19 and 35, were treated on the scene and transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center with hand and neck injuries. The attacker fled the scene. Police are searching for him.

08:43 AM IL: Jerusalem police report the identity of the attacker is known and border police are working to apprehend him.
