The case involves two chassidim affiliated with the Shuvu Banim community who faced drug charges in Spain. A court has sentenced the defendants, both Tzfas residents in their 20s who were arrested in May 2014.
The two were under surveillance and taken into custody after arriving in Spain on a flight from Morocco. They had a large quantity of drugs on them at the time of their arrests. At the time of the arrest, their friends explained they were couriers and they were unaware of what they were carrying.
The two are in a Madrid prison and they have been sentenced to 3.5 years imprisonment. Kikar Shabbos reports the family of one of them stated they are relieved that the sentence is not much harsher, as they feared it might be.
People who have tried visiting them were unsuccessful but it is hopeful this will change for the better in the near future.

Messengers of who? Stop trying to joke with the European countries, who U think ur kidding?
No rachmunus for anyone who is involved in anyway with drugs. There has been enough people to take a lesson from. Think about the 3 bochurim who were stuck in japan.
They are not Shuvu Banim chassidim. Shuvu Banim was working on being m’karev them to prevent an incident like this from happening, but I wouldn’t call then chassidim.
