A two-year-old child is R”L in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle, Wednesday afternoon.

The accident happened inside the Forest Park Development – off of Pine Street – around 2:15PM. Lakewood Hatzolah Paramedics was on the scene treating the child, who reportedly had critical injuries. She was being transported to the Jersey Shore Trauma Center.

The police along with the Ocean County prosecutor’s officer were on the scene investigating the incident.
