A fire broke out early Monday morning in a home on East 29th Street. The FDNY was called just before 4:00AM to the scene, and arrived to find heavy fire conditions throughout through the entire home, – with flames shooting out the windows.

Upon extinguishment of the fire by FDNY personnel, a 66-year-old male resident was found on the top floor of the home. He was pronounced DOA by emergency personnel. He has been identified as 66-year old Shewming Seto of 1836 East 29 Street, Brooklyn, NY.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
