Deputy Transportation Minister (Likud) Tzipi Hotevely feels the time has come for the older generation to step aside and permit the young leadership in Likud to move up the ladder. She feels that if the public sees the younger leadership moving into place, it will send a clear message regarding the party’s ability to address the cost of living and security matters.
Gamliel’s statements follow the announced resignation of party veteran and long-time cabinet minister, Limor Livnat, who has decided to step down from political life after serving 23 years in Knesset.
