The Supreme Court on Tuesday morning 17 Kislev heard a petition filed by Arab MK (Balad) Hanin Zoabi, seeking to challenge a Knesset decision to oust her from plenum sessions for six months. The heart of her petition challenges the authority of the Knesset Ethics Committee to impose such a punishment on her.
Justice Chanan Meltzer made reference to Zoabi’s call for an embargo against the State of Israel, citing there is no precedent in the world in which a Member of Parliament calls for an embargo against his/her own country.
Justice Esther Hayut added “Zoabi’s position not only outrages part of the public, but it negates the very essence of the nation. Her statement shows understanding and identifies with people who kidnap children”.
Knesset legal advisor Eyal Yinon told the court the Ethics Committee ruling is extreme, but appropriate considering the circumstances as Zoabi aligned herself with and expressed support for terrorists.
The court promised an expeditious ruling.
When Zoabi came outside she was met by Baruch Marzel and attorney Itamar Ben-Givir, who shouted “terrorist go to Syria!” Court security personnel distanced the sides from one another.

Be sure our Liberal Israeli courts will praise and exonerate her.
“The court promised an expeditious ruling.” Highly doubtful that in Hebrew they used the word expeditious but if they did, it has already been close to 24 hours since that superfluous statement was made. When someone comes into the Emergency Room and blood is drawn it is sent to the STAT Lab – STAT is an abbreviation of the Latin word statim – immediately!! The court seems to be working on Jewish time or someone or already is on their Chanukah hiatus. Can someone kick the members of this donkey court and remind it that it an important case and judgement shouldn’t just linger on. This is subhuman primate which has been given MK privileges but is unable to act civilly. This Arab female dog identifies herself with the lowlife scum that abducted the 3 Israeli boys who were returning home from school only to be shot dead in a car at close range. Is this court also going to side with this female dog like Livni sides with our arab enemies? If it meant staying in chambers all night to come to a decision, that’s what should have happened not delaying like what is going on now. This dog should be ousted out of the Knesset for 6 months or better revoking all MK privileges effective immediately. Is this the same treatment these judges would expect upon being brought into the Emergency Room? Get off your duffs and come to a judgement.
