The US State Department has released a statement denying the accuracy of reports that the Obama administration is going to levy additional sanctions against Israel for defying the international community with continued construction in areas views as “occupied”, including in Yerushalayim.
According to a report that appeared in Haaretz, the White House is planning stiffer sanctions against Israel for announced construction plans in areas including Gilo, Ramot, and other areas of the capital. Sanctions are also to include America refraining from using its veto power in the UN Security Council in motions aimed against Israel. America has traditionally stood by Israel’s side in the Security Council and blocked many condemnations as a result.
According to the State Department statement released by spokesperson Jen Psaki, the reports of officials contemplating sanctions are not factual and do not reflect reality. Psaki explained US votes in the Security Council will be weighed on a case by case basis.

Don’t believe anything from Kerry’s state department, he is extremely anti semitic and anti israel, he wishes that iran would wipe them off the map
thank ribono shel olam that this mamzer kerry did not win presidency
1. Sanctions have to be authorized by statute
2. Supporting terrorism at the UN would not look good for the Democrats, who, contrary to what many believe, would really like to win the next election. Most Democrats don’t want to run in 2016 as the party of Putim, Islamic State and Iran.
Regarding comment #1 emes yid aren’t you being a little rash about John Kerry and the US State Dept.
