A Staten Island grand jury has declined to indict NYPD Officer Daniel Pantaleo in the chokehold death of Eric Garner.
Eric Garner died shortly after being accosted by police for selling loose, un-taxed cigarettes in July.

Staten Island District Attorney Daniel Donovan told reporters that the jurors have been diligently listening to evidence.

  1. He did not intend to kill him just like the Ferguson officer!
Hopefully Staten Island blacks can lead the nation to civility!

  2. While I believe Michael Brown was a criminal and these riots was just an excuse for all the hooligans in the country. I do have mixed feelings about this one. He seems on some of the pictures like he really is picking up his hands…If this was a mistake , then I still believe he’s got to pay something. Sometimes for a mistake you pay a bit.

  3. We have to trust the judgement of the Grand Jurors who saw a lot more evidence that we ever will. Garner was a petty criminal not an innocent upstanding citizen who was cooperatimng with the police.

  4. We all should agree that this cop should not be on the force. You need to have some common sense when to use force, and when not. And if someone says that he can’t breathe, and he’s not violent, or a threat to anyone, you just let go. After all, Eric Garner’s big crime was selling illegal cigarettes.
