Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s youngest son, Avner, entered the IDF on Monday, 9 Kislev 5775. The prime minister and his wife Sara were on hand, sending their son off as is the case with most new inductees. The young Netanyahu will be entering into a combat unit.

The prime minister told the media “we are full of pride and naturally concern. All Israeli know what this is about and we are no different”.

Mr. Netanyahu added that during the pre-induction party they made for their son, he told his son “watch over the country and take care of yourself. I wish you and all IDF soldiers that are enlisting today success and all the parents who are emotional like we are to calm down – it will be okay”. Mrs. Netanyahu added “Return home safely”.
