What would you do if you found more than $15,000 in cash? Two passengers in Ben-Gurion International Airport found this sum in cash and quickly looked for police to turn the money in.
When the couple found the dollars on the floor of the airport they could not believe their eyes. They began counting and soon realized it was more than $15,000 in cash. The two headed to airport police to turn the money in, explaining “we are certain the owner is going to be looking for the money”.
Police in turn have turned to the public, calling on the owner to please come and claim the money.

Could be it’s illegal and no one is going to step forward.
Could be the whole story is a faux to have the owners come forward.

I can imagine a comedy skit of a very long line of unsavory people attempting to claim the money. What have they got to lose? 🙂
