Obama Urges Calm After #Ferguson Decision

obalPresident Barack Obama says he joins with Michael Brown’s family in urging peaceful protests after a grand jury decided not to indict the Ferguson police officer who shot and killed the unarmed, black 18-year-old.

Obama made the comments Monday moments after official word of the grand jury’s decision.

The president said first and foremost the nation is built on the rule of law. He said despite anger and intense disagreement on either side, Americans need to accept the decision that the grand jury made.

The Justice Department is also conducting an investigation into possible civil rights violations that could result in federal charges

  1. this is exactly where the guy with the pen wants us to be
he has been dividing this country from the get go
he is loving this and wishing for more and more.

He is not going to be happy until this country is in total chaos.

he’s been pretty successful with his meddling in the rest of the world, he stuck his nose in other places and in each case he wrecked havoc.

    I recall a blessing I heard years ago..so appropriate,

er zal zein azoiy vi a chandelier – brenen by nacht un hengin by tag.

  2. There should be no protest at all. The grand jury process worked fine in this case.

I personally think that the officer should have had charges brought against him, however the courts decided otherwise and I have faith in the justice system.

  3. Barry will probably pressure the justice dept to charge officer, the same way he pressured irs to harass tea party organizations. And you can bet that Holder, the black supremacist with the fancy mustache will go along with that.

  4. Thank you Dr. Goofus for that brilliant legal analysis. Ywn should keep you on retainer. But I’d just like to point out that it wasn’t the courts that decided not to charge the officer, it was a jury.
