Security has been significantly increased at the main Belz Beis Medrash in Eretz Yisrael, in Kiryat Belz in Yerushalayim following the barbaric massacre that took place in a Har Nof shul. Police barriers are in place to restrict running through the large courtyard outside and entrances. Security inspections are taking place too and all persons entering the beis medrash and shteiblach are being monitored.

Officials in the chassidus consulted with high-ranking experts and as such, all gates but two have been closed to limit access to the building. Security guards are present as well. Officials in the chassidus explain at present they have no choice and despite the great inconvenience to many, this is what the current situation compels them to do.
