Every Jewish heart is reeling in the aftermath of the barbaric slaughter of Jews in Eretz Yisroel, the latest attack taking the lives of four talmidei chachamim as they were davening Shachris in Har Nof.
Jewish communities across North America grieve along with our brethren in Eretz Yisroel and train our eyes towards our Father in Heaven for salvation. Several community events for tefillah and hisorerus have been arranged as a response to today’s horrific massacre, including:
– Lakewood: Ateres Reva Hall, 500 Summer Avenue at 7:50 pm, for men and women.
The Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yeruchem Olshin, shlit”a, will address the event. At 8:15, there will be a live hookup from Flatbush, featuring divrei hisorerus from Rav Avrohom Schorr shlit”a, Rav of Khal Tiferes Yaakov, and Rav Elya Brudny shlit”a, Rosh Yeshiva of Mirrer Yeshiva of Brooklyn. Maariv and Tehillim at 9:00. Call in number: 212-444-1323 ext. 9.
– Brooklyn: Agudas Yisroel Bais Binyomin, 2913 Avenue L at 9:30 pm, for men and women. Divrei Hisorerus and Tehillim will be led by the Mara D’asra, Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff, shlit”a. Maariv at 10:00.
– Brooklyn: Khal Tiferes Yaakov, 1212 E. 15th Street at 8:15 pm for men and women. The Mara D’asra, Rav Avrohom Schorr shlit”a and Rav Elya Brudny shlit”a, Rosh Yeshiva of Mirrer Yeshiva of Brooklyn, will deliver divrei hisorerus. Maariv at 9:00.
May the memory of the kedoshim bring blessing to us all. May Hashem console their families among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.
