Police on Wednesday night, the eve of 20 Marcheshvan, arrested a 17-year-old Arab male at Parsa Junction. Modi’in Illit police became suspicious of the man after seeing him trying to get a ride to Yerushalayim from the hitchhiking station. They asked him to identify himself and searched him. He was concealing a large knife and a screwdriver.

A Dolev resident asked the man where he was heading and the response was described as confused and his accent alerted the driver. He felt something was not in order and summoned police. The Dolev resident averted yet another terror attack B’chasdei Hashem.

The Arab male told police he planned to stab a bus driver in the capital. He was turned over to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) for interrogation.
