An Iron Dome rocket intercept battery was deployed in the Krayot area of N. Israel on Tuesday night the eve of 19 Marcheshvan, Channel 2 News reported. The move is accompanied by growing concerns concerning Hizbullah and the possibility of increasing cross-border hostility. The positioning of the unit permits it to address threats from both Lebanon and Syria.

The Iron Dome is effective against incoming projectiles from 4km (2.5 miles) up to a maximum of 70km (43 miles).
