A fast-moving fire destroyed a rabbinical seminary in Yorktown Heights Saturday night.
The fire started at around 11 p.m. at the house on Illington Road, located on the Kehilath Yaakov Pupa Rabbinical Seminary campus.
Fire officials say the house was fully engulfed by flames when crews arrived at the scene. It is reportedly owned by the grand rabbi.
News 12 is told multiple fire crews, comprising 50 firefighters, responded to battle the flames, which were under control in about an hour.
This marks the second time the home had gone up in flames, the first time being in 2012.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
