The Knesset Law Committee on Sunday will debate a bill sponsored by MK (Yisrael Beitenu) David Rotem which calls to empower the Knesset to remove a serving MK from his/her position if s/he aligns with an enemy of the state in a time of warfare.

Rotem explains that every democracy needs its red lines and this must apply to elected officials too.
