Minister (The Movement) Amir Peretz on Sunday decided he will be resigning from the cabinet. He made the announcement after consulting with his party leader, Justice Minister Tzipi Livni on Sunday, 16 Marcheshvan 5775.
Speaking to the media over the weekend, Peretz explained his dissatisfaction with the current administration and his inability to support the state budget vote. Peretz blames the prime minister for increased poverty and the collapse of the diplomatic process with the PA (Palestinian Authority).
