Degel Hatorah will be sponsoring its kabolas Shabbos this Friday night Parshas Vayera on Little Betzalel Street in the capital as a demonstration of outrage over the growing chilul Shabbos in the capital.
Officials stress the number of participants will be limited and there is nothing planned other than kabolas Shabbos. Organizers explain that the kabolas Shabbos is a symbolic outcry to express their pain associated with the deterioration in the religious status quo in the capital.
The Jerusalem faction of Degel is set to convene on Sunday 16 Marcheshvan to discuss this alarming increase in chilul Shabbos. Some Agudas Yisrael officials will be taking part in the meeting too. The meeting was originally set to take place on Thursday 13 Marcheshvan but some of the person who will be attending are out of the country.

1)do you doubt that shemiras shabbos in yerushalayim has impacts throughout the world?
2)do you realize that the Shabbos Project,while wonderful in conception,possibly was in practice a cause of more chillul shabbos than shmiras shabbos?
