The Haifa District Court has sentenced Ahmed Surbaji, a 23-year-old Israeli Arab from Um el-Fahm, to 22 months imprisonment for joining ISIS.
The defendant admitted to traveling to Syria via Turkey to join the Syrian rebel forces in their battle against government troops and President Bashar al-Assad. He was immediately taken and traveled to a training base for one week and then he was enlisted into ISIS.
ISIS sent him for additional training, including handling various weapons. He attended religious lectures too, and he was deployed as a guard in an ISIS camp. During his stay in Syria he was in touch with Israeli security officials, telling them he is in ISIS, which he regrets, and that he wishes to return home.
The felt that since he expressed remorse for his actions he was sentenced to 22 months instead of 3-4 years as the prosecution requested.

Keep an eye on this fool. Never EVER let him off your radar. In fact use him as a magnet for the other cockroaches who need to be rooted out and sentenced accordingly, not 22 months. How goofy.
Fool? I hope he is a fool. Somehow i think not. I hope he’s not planning something r”l. Arrange to have him “taken care of” in prison.
