Amid allegations Israel Police ignored numerous death threats made against Har Habayis activist Rabbi Yehuda Glick prior to the attempted assassination against him, it is now reported that journalist Arnon Segal, who regularly covers events on Har Habayis, has been threatened as well.

Knesset security officials last week acted on mounting threats against MK Deputy Speaker Moshe Feiglin due to his role in seeking freedom of worship for Jews on Har Habayis, and assigned a security detail to him. Police have not acted and it does not appear Israel Police has acted on the threats facing Segal either.

A person who identifies himself as a Beit Lechem resident uploaded a photo of Segal with the writing “You will be dead soon” to social media networks. One of the comments to the posting adds “we will behead the head of your organization”.

Segal, also counted among the Har Habayis activists, told the press “I am not afraid and do not plan to cease my Har Habayis activities”.
