According to multiple reports, two NYPD officers have been indicted with the brutal beating of a 16-year-old Brooklyn teen – after he picked up his hands to surrender to police. Officers David Afanador and Tyrane Isaac are expected to surrender Wednesday morning, and will be charged with the alleged attack against Tribble. The attack was caught on tape, and was published by all major news outlets in NYC.
16-year-old Kahreem Tribble ran from police in Bedford Stuyvesant back in August. And when he stops and surrenders he’s struck by officers four times. One of the officers appears to hit Tribble in the mouth with his gun.
Tribble was arrested for resisting arrest and possessing marijuana, but those charges were dismissed.

And what about the cops that beat up the Jewish guy in the Crown Heights basement last year that was also captured on tape? Maybe its time for that precinct to take “sensitivity training”.
We’re always told “it’s only a few bad apples”. Based on recent stories I’d say more than just a few.
