BINA Stroke and Brain Injury Assistance, in conjunction with Rusk Rehabilitation of NYU Langone Medical Center, is proud to present an informative and practical seminar on the topic of traumatic brain injury, to take place today from 6:30-8:00 pm. at Sisu V’Simchu, located at 4127-18th Ave. in Brooklyn.
This unique event, “Managing the Challenges of TBI,” is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have suffered a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and their loved ones to learn cutting edge information on the latest developments in the field from leading medical and legal experts.
Topics include diagnosis of TBI and different options for medical imaging; treatment following injury including medications, new technology and therapies, clinical trials and unconventional approaches; and the role of a life planner within TBI litigation.
The keynote presenter is Steven R. Flanagan, M.D., Medical Director of Rusk Rehabilitation and world-renowned expert on traumatic brain injury. Dr. Flanagan is also a member of BINA’s medical advisory board. Andrew W. Siegel, Esq. of the Siegel and Coonerty LLP law firm, which represents many clients who have suffered from traumatic brain injuries, is also a featured speaker.
Survivors of TBI, their family members, therapists and other professionals, will all benefit immensely from the program and are urged to attend this important event which is free and open to the public.
