Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar Shlita, a candidate to become the next Chief Sephardi Rabbi of Yerushalayim, visited the tziyun of the Rashbi on Tuesday, 27 Tishrei. The rav was mispallel and took part in an upsherin as seen in the photos.
The polls in the Jerusalem Chief Rabbinate race open on Tuesday at 16:00 until 19:00. Rabbi Amar is backed by the Bayit Yehudi party and Jerusalem City Hall. He is the official dati leumi community candidate for the Sephardi Chief Rabbi post.
