IDF Sgt. Ohz Mendlowitz, 21, of Avtalyon, was killed on 22 Tammuz in Operation Protective Edge, the IDF counter-terrorism offensive against Hamas in Gaza. His father Ofir is pained and angered after reading reports that during the war, a daughter of Hamas PM Ismail Haniyeh was treated for a week in a Tel Aviv hospital. That hospital is Ichilov Hospital. The bereaved father told the hospital’s medical director that he is waiting to see Haniyeh stand up and thank Israel for saving his daughter’s life.
When Mr. Mendlowitz heard the news he phoned the hospital’s director, Prof. Gabriel Barbash to express his outrage. He questioned treating the daughter of the man who sent his terrorists to kill IDF soldiers, “including my son” he added. That call was aired on Channel 2 News.
Barbash explained that 60-70 Gaza residents arrived daily and they are not sorted to ascertain who they area. He pointed out hospital officials are not aware of who will be arriving in advance, admitting in this case they only learned the identity of the Hamas PM’s daughter a day following her arrival.
Barbash appealed to Mendlowitz and said, “I think that even you, with the heavy burden you carry, wouldn’t send away a woman in need of treatment when she is sitting in front of you in the hospital.”
Mendlowitz agreed, admitting he is not vengeful, adding “I want to see Haniyeh stand up and thank the doctors at for saving his daughter’s life.”

You gotta absolutely love the hypocrisy of these Hamas animals! The daughter of the Hamas leader has no qualms about being admitted to an Israeli hospital, the hospital of the “murderous Israelis”?! Why couldn’t she simply go to one of the Hamas run “hospitals”? Maybe occupancy was full(with missile launchers)?
I’m sorry to say this but the problem with Jews, the only problem with us, is that we have too much compassion. As we see with all the crazy Jews that are liberals.
