With the election for chief rabbis of Yerushalayim days away, scheduled for Tuesday 27 Tishrei, it is now being reported that two of the 48 members of the voting body are related to two of the candidates, Rabbi Mordechai Toledano Shlita and Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu.
Ms. Yael Entebbe, a member of the voting body representing the Jerusalem City Council, is related to Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu by marriage. She is also related to Rabbi Mordechai Entebbe, one of the rabbonim running in the race.
Ms. Tehila Yosef, the wife of Yoni Yosef, is a niece of Rabbi Mordechai Toledano Shlita.
It remains determined if election officials will disqualify the two from taking part in the election.

First Bayit yehudi and Barkat demand on putting women on the committee, then naturally they disqualify the ones who might vote differently?!
