Kerry Blames Israel for Failed Peace-Making Efforts

kerUS Secretary of State John Kerry blamed Israel for the lack of progress towards a lasting peace agreement with the PA (Palestinian Authority), stating the US is not to blame for the Mideast failures. Kerry stated the growth of radical Islam was responsible for the lack of progress in peace-making efforts, adding “there wasn’t a leader I met with in the region who didn’t raise with me spontaneously the need to try to get peace between Israel and the Palestinians, because it was a cause of recruitment and of street anger and agitation.”

Kerry added that Israel’s humiliation of Palestinians has resulted in a loss of dignity and an increased willingness to join the ranks of ISIS. The secretary of state preferred to point the blame at Israel rather than accept the blame for his failed peace-making efforts in the region.

Kerry has once again opted to single out Israel for the lack of a peace agreement with the PA (Palestinian Authority), preferring to ignore ongoing PA terror and violations of the many agreements signed between the PA and Israeli government since the signing of the Oslo Agreement over 20 years ago.

Minister of the Economy Naftali Bennett was harsh in his response, stating “Even when a British Muslim beheads of British Christian some will blame the Jews. He added “We do not justify terrorism but fight it”, stating ISIS has declared war on all Christians around the world. The minister warns the USA is not taking the ISIS threat seriously, sating “I suggest they listen to and believe ISIS”.

Communications Minister Gilad Erdan joined Bennett, stating Kerry’s statements clearly show his profound lack of understanding of the region.

  1. Of course Israel is at fault. Just look how much the Palestinians sacrificed for peace in the past. They returned thousands of Israeli terrorists, returned huge tracts of land back to Israeli control, gave building supplies, water , energy and piles of money to Israel and what did Israel do in return? They used all the resources to dig tunnels into Gaza to kidnap and kill innocent Palestinian citizens and fired thousands of rockets on innocent women and children.

  2. I am no fan of the POTUS, or of his Secretary of State, but he is correct in this case. There is no peace, and cannot be peace, as long as we (Jews/Israelis) break the conditions of the arba shavuous (see ArtScroll interlinear translation to the Hoshanos service – Schottenstein Edition page 39 – E-l l’mosha’os, b’arba shavuous. . .).

  3. Did any of the monkeys who wrote or edited or commented on this article or its unrelated headline read the second sentence of this article? It is completely at odds with the thrust of this article, which suggests that the reporting of Mr. Kerry’s comments in this article is inaccurate.

  4. nfgo3 – Read on. I think what he is saying is: the increase in radical Islam is because of the humility Israel has caused the Palestinians.

  5. “because it was a cause of recruitment and of street anger and agitation.”

Yes the Lurch is right. The Israelis should just lay down and let themselves get wiped off the map. That will make the dufuss happy.

  6. @ Not getting involved – No. No need to lay down. . . Rather increased Torah (learning), avodah (tefillah), and g’milus chasadim. Politics, politicians, and policies will not change the situation.
