Police on Shabbos evening were summoned to the area near Israel Police Headquarters on Route 1, near the large white statue, after Arabs harvesting olive trees at the location began pelting two chareidim with rocks. It appears the Jews and Arabs got into a verbal altercation which escalated to the Arabs throwing rocks. The two were injured in the face and extremities.

They were treated and released on the scene, not requiring hospitalization. The Arabs fled and avoided arrest.
