Minister of Religious Services Naftali Bennett proudly announces a new free shuttle service from the park-and-ride station in the capital. The shuttles will be running at 20 minute intervals, servicing the Kosel and Ir David.
Bennett explains that if one writes “חופשי לעתיקה” (Chofshi L’Atika) in Waze, it will direct one to the proper location to avail oneself of the free shuttle service. The minister adds the shuttles are also capable of accommodate persons with disabilities and take one to and from one’s destination.

It’s not new and it’s not free! That is, the ride from the parking lot is free, but you have to pay the parking lot fee.
To #1. It’s an option, especially for someone who doesn’t live in Yerushalayim. You don’t have to use it. Parking may be free for someone with a disabled card or tag?? It is in some places.
