As Postal Authority workers continue sanctions, other government agencies have been joining in from time-to-time. This includes but is not limited to Motor Vehicle Bureaus, Israel Lands Authority, Courthouses, and tourism and public transportation services.
This week additional unions are planning to join in, including customs officials in the Port of Ashdod and Haifa and employment service offices nationwide. Port officials will delay clearing incoming raw materials, which will have a significant impact on the nation’s factories.
Postal workers will stop sorting incoming mail from abroad and registered mail will not be processed.
