Ministry of Health inspectors conducted two surprise visits to two Tzfas stores resulting in the confiscation and destruction of 700kg (1,543 lbs.) of meats, poultry & fish. An inspection of two butcher shops in Tzfas revealed meats from an unknown source and meat, fish and chicken being stored in unacceptable conditions that failed to meet with minimum health standards.

All of the confiscated foods were destroyed.
