Mayor Bill de Blasio has decided to rent out his Brooklyn town house while he and his family live in Gracie Mansion.
The mayor’s office says the 3-story house in Park Slope is listed for nearly $5,000 a month.
The 100-year-old town house has three bedrooms, one bathroom and a small backyard complete with an herb garden and a crabapple tree.
It’s listed with Tricia Webster of Brooklyn Properties. She tells WCBS-TV that the de Blasios had the house repainted and put in new carpets and kitchen appliances.
The family moved into Gracie Mansion, the official mayoral residence on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, in July. Built in 1799, the Federalist-style house has eight bathrooms.

Wow he is so hip & cool. I hope he discussed it with Dante first.
Is there a spot suitable for a sukkah?
Five thousand a month and only one bathroom. Only three bedrooms. Oy vey. Who would want that?
imagine if the guy cant pay rent for one month, the police, water, electrical, and gas company will be down his back, and he wont win in court
and imagine if you have a problem with the apartment, trying to get a hold of your landlord
