For the ninth year running, New York’s premier Torah organization is once again presenting women worldwide with its most powerful event of the year: Avinu Malkeinu.

As in previous years, the Flatbush gathering will be held in the neighborhood’s largest venue: Brooklyn College’s Walt Whitman Hall. Tonight, Monday, September 29, 2600 reflective women from across the religious spectrum will once again pack the cavernous auditorium, embarking on personal journeys of transformation.

“We get high school students, post-sem girls, young marrieds, middle-aged moms, and grandmothers,” says Elisheva Perlman, the center’s Director of Marketing. “Not infrequently, we’ll see three generations walking through the doors together. It’s incredibly moving.”

The evening’s stellar lineup tonight at the Brooklyn event includes Rabbi Zechariah Wallerstein, Rabbi Eli Mansour, and Mr. Charlie Harary.
