Officials of the Amisragas Company in Yerushalayim are apologizing to clients, blaming the actions of an employee who acted on his own for the storm resulting in Chilul Yomtov, the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
Residents of the Ramat Eshkol area of Yerushalayim received notices on the second day of yomtov informing them a gas safety inspection that would take place on Sunday, 4 Tishrei. Some of the residents confronted the person who was pasting notifications in the area, telling him it is a holy day and they find his actions objectionable. As the number of complaints increased the news boomeranged back to company management.
Officials were apologetic, made no attempt to justify the actions of the employee, blaming him for acting independently, not on orders from company officials. Company officials add they will take the necessary actions will be taken to assure this will not occur again in the future, apologizing repeatedly over the incident.
