Passersby on Sunday 4 Tishrei found a toddler inside a parked vehicle on Rashbi Street in Elad. The passersby noticed the child was left alone in the vehicle. They summoned emergency responders who arrived in minutes and they pulled the child out of the vehicle. While they were waiting they tried to get the car open, but they were unsuccessful. The child was transported to a hospital, listed in light condition.

Elad Ichud Hatzalah Chief Moshe Sa’adon reports that the girl inside the vehicle was three-years-old. He states the vehicle was locked and she was inside, apparently forgotten in the vehicle. Police are investigating.

B’chasdei Hashem the ambient weather on Sunday was relatively cool and the child did not dehydrate or suffer serious injury.
