It is all about timing and in Israel, employees will always seek to maximize the impact of their job action, even during the busiest days of the year.
With the Israel Postal Authority strike continuing without an end in sight, workers at Ben-Gurion International Airport will be striking in a showing of solidarity. The three hour strike will take place on Thursday, 23 Elul. From 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Workers announced the strike on Wednesday afternoon, stating during the three hour period they will not permit flights to take off. Arriving flights will not be serviced. Hence, arriving passengers will not receive their luggage.
Postal workers announce they will continue to step-up their sanctions, backed by the nation’s Histadrut Labor Federation.
