After a rocket landed in the Eshkol Regional Council area of southern Israel on Tuesday evening, Hamas contacted Israel via intermediaries to stress its commitment to the ceasefire. Hamas is quoted saying it arrested the terrorists involved in the rocket fire. Channel 2 News reported that Hamas acted immediately to arrest those responsible for the mortar rocket fire.
Hamas officials were quick to distance themselves from the attack, not wishing to engage in another round of warfare with Israel. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities or injuries resulting from the attack.
The rocket attack was the first since the ceasefire agreement that ended Operation Protective Edge on August 26, 2014.

Hamas tests us. We failed again. The story about arresting the terrorists involved is only credible if they hand them over to Israel.
If they can’t control their own dogs, we are headed for trouble. I don’t believe their “commitment” anyway.
