A tragedy occurred in Bnei Brak R”L. A 26-year-old woman complained of not feeling well on Monday morning 13 Elul, collapsing a short time later at home. The dispatcher received a call for a woman with labored respirations on Dessler Street. Hatzalah responders were on the scene in minutes, finding the woman on the ground in cardiac arrest.
Hatzalah Gush Dan EMT Avremi Katz reported “we received a call for an unconscious person with labored respirations. We found the woman unconscious when we arrived and immediately began CPR. She was pronounced dead by a physician after an hour of life-saving efforts.
Katz added she had no medical history and was known to be a healthy woman. Police arrived on the scene and requested to perform an autopsy but soon thereafter agreed it would not be necessary.
