Following the declaration of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas and subsequently a number of days without rocket attacks, the IDF Homefront Command has canceled all special regulations pertaining to Operation Protective Edge.
This means all public shelters in cities and municipalities within 80km (48 miles) of the Gaza border may be closed. If one does hear a siren, one is to seek shelter as in the past.
Regulations prohibiting large numbers of people from gathering have been lifted and life is returning to normal in most areas. Regarding the kibbutzim and communities along the Gaza border, not all residents have chosen to return at this time.
