UPDATE 6;01AM MONDAY MORNING: After a massive search involving Hatzolah and local law enforcement, the five missing Bochrim were just found and safely removed from the forest. The search was coordinated by Catskills Hatzolah, and the Ulster County Sheriff Department – including its Chaplain, Rabbi Joel Gold. A Misaskim command center was used by emergency personnel to coordinate the search. Hundreds of volunteers from Hatzolah, Chaveirim and Shomrim gave of their time to assist in searching for the boys.
At least two NY State Police choppers and a few K-9 Units from the State Police as well as the Sheriff Dept were used.
Bichasdei Hashem, the boys are in good health.
10:00PM SUNDAY NIGHT: There is currently an active search for a group of missing Bochrim at Camp Kasho on Geiger Road in Ellenville. Sources tell YWN Catskills that the group of five Bochrim went on a hike in the woods around 6:00PM, and did not return. The camp contacted Catskills Hatzolah, as well as Rabbi Joel Gold, the Ulster County Sheriff Chaplain, and volunteers are actively searching for the missing group. The Ulster County Sheriff is on scene with K-9 Units as well as a chopper.
There is currently no further information as of this time.

How old are they, what are their names for davening?
Who goes on a hike at 6pm in the woods? Was there a trail? This is strange, how old are the boys?
As an experienced hiker; entering the woods at 6pm means that’s where you’re sleeping tonight. Hashem shud protect them!
Just for the record it was bochurim from camp morris and dedicated hatzola members that first spotted the five missing bochurim
