Finance Minister Yair Lapid is among the cabinet ministers vocalizing objections of the ongoing process between Israel and Hamas. Lapid, a member of the Security Cabinet, feels a decisive victory against Hamas is a must if Israel is to have any real hope of tranquility in the south – an end to rocket fire from Gaza.
He stresses that he will only vote for an agreement that he feels will really bring peace to southern area residents, warning the current process will result in yet another round of warfare in a half year or a year.
Lapid is of the same opinion of Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who is also a member of the Security Cabinet. Lieberman feels a decisive victory against Hamas is essential towards restoring quiet to the southern areas of the country and bringing a halt to all Hamas rocket fire into Israel. Lieberman has called for the elimination of the Hamas leaders.
Lapid is concerned over the ongoing process, which includes Hamas firing rockets into Israel at will.

Who would have thought the he’s so hawkish!!
He’s finally making sense on something
As much as I don’t want to have more killings now, you don’t need a crystal ball to know that you can’t trust Hamas. If we don’t finish them now we will see more killings in the future, c’v.
the thing is, after a truce that both LIEberman and Lapid don’t agree with, Will they bolt the government (along with bayit yehudi)
What one kapittel Tehillim could accomplish within a Yiddishe Neshama!
