The UN [and Others] Continues to Attack Israel

bkmUnited Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on Wednesday, 10 Menachem Av, lashed out at once again, continuing his anti-Israel diatribe. The UN leader, who is not counted among Israel’s friends, hinted some of the attacks carried out in Gaza by the IDF should be addressed by the International Court of Justice. For Moon, the over 3,000 rockets fired at Israel are inconsequential for the Iron Dome protected Israelis in most cases.

The leader of the bastion of anti-Western values has been among the silent amid increasingly frequent unprovoked rocket attacks aimed at Israeli civilian population centers. As those attacks peaked during the weeks before Operation Protective Edge began, compelling Israel to act, still the UN and its cronies remained silent, at a loss for words to condemn Hamas and the enemies of Israel. When the warfare was found stored in UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) facilities in Gaza, Moon believed simply denouncing the use of UN buildings to support Hamas was sufficient. When video footage captured UN ambulances transporting armed terrorists in Gaza, Moon remain silent, committed to the UN’s anti-Israel stand.

The UN choir only began its resounding condemnations as the IDF began its counter-terrorism offensive, which by the nature of Hamas’ operation, left Gazan civilians to be counted among the dead and wounded in sharp contrast to Hamas, which delivers rockets into civilian population centers indiscriminately.

While Israel placed it troops at increased risk to avoid collateral damage, the wounding or killing of civilians, it should be pointed out that the innocent civilians are the very same who dance and distribute sweets when buses blow up in Israel and when the three kedoshim were kidnapped by Hamas on the eve of 15 Sivan 5774. These are the very same civilians who pray daily that Israel, the US and other Western nations to be obliterated from the map. These are the same innocent civilians that overwhelmingly voted Hamas to power, preferring to oust Fatah and its leader, Abu Mazen.

Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor, like his predecessors, holds the unpleasant task of being among the lone voices of truth and morality in the UN, telling his colleagues the international community has lost its direction in the mounting attacks against Israel.

Moon is yet to volunteer to send tens of thousands of his forces to Gaza to disarm Hamas, as are any EU nations or the US for that matter, preferring to sit back and condemn Israel rather than face the reality of the threat of growing Islamic Fundamentalism.

  1. It’s the UN who should be taken to the International Court of Justice for allowing rockets to be placed in their schools and hospitals and even fired into innocent civilians in Israel from there. Israel has all the right to retaliate when the UN is part of Hamas.

  2. It’s not for nothing that the word “lunatic” is connected to the French word “La Lune” which, of course, means “the Moon”.

  3. Not the Palestinian leadership who stored and shot rockets from your school buildings, but Israel.
    Boing-to-the-moon! You’re a lunatic!
