Minister of the Interior Gideon Saar has turned to Attorney General Yehuda Weinstein with a request to strip Muhmad Mefarga of Taibeh of his Israeli citizenship. The terrorist was convicted of carrying out a terror attack on a bus in Tel Aviv. His conviction included 24 counts of attempted murder.

In November 2012 the terrorist placed a bomb on a Dan Company bus. The explosion injured 26 people, one seriously. The attack was attributed to Operation Pillar of Defense in Gaza.

The minister now calls to strip him of his citizenship, therefore bringing to an end any and all rights and privileges he may have as a citizen.
