Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was asked on motzei Shabbos if the Security Cabinet decision was understood correctly, that the IDF may withdraw from Gaza without Lt. Hadar Goldin, who was taken captive on Friday morning.

Mr. Netanyahu stated he does not plan to detail Israel’s plans in public, stating Israel’s security will not be compromised, stressing the government’s concern for each and every IDF soldier.

He concluded stating he plans to speak with the parents of the lieutenant on motzei Shabbos to brief them privately.
