It is now permitted to publish that the heavy fighting in the Rafiach area has been related to a successful kidnapping of an IDF soldier R”L. Givati was operating in the Rafiach area.
According to the details being released, at about 09:30 Friday morning, terrorists opened fire on IDF soldiers in the Rafiach area of southern Gaza. Preliminary information points to a successful kidnapping as one soldier is missing. The family of the soldier has been notified.
The incident began with an attack by terrorists emerging from yet another tunnel. The IDF continues the massive bombardment of the area in the hope of preventing the terrorists from taking the soldier to a different area.
It is very likely a large infantry force including Special Forces will be moving to that area, which will be sealed hermetically, then moving house-to-house looking for the soldier. There is of course the fear they will succeed in taking him from the area via the massive tunnel network.
14:04 IL: IDF officials report a Hamas suicide bomber emerged from a tunnel near Rafiach and blew himself up near the soldiers, setting the scene to permit grabbing an IDF soldier.
14:56: The abducted soldier is identified by the IDF as Givati Brigade 2nd-Lt. Hadar Goldin [ben Chedva Leah], 23, of Kfar Sava.
16:37: Lt. Goldin is among the many officers serving in the IDF who was a talmid at Yeshivat Bnei David IDF Prepatory Yeshiva prior to entering into his military service.

as you all probably know, an Israeli soldier was captured – Hadar ben Chedva Leah. we ourselves cannot look for him in a physical sense, but we can do something very simple for him in the spiritual realm. we know that “tzedaka tatzil mi’maves… charity saves from death.”
i am proposing that whoever reads this email should put some money in their tzedaka box as a zechus for this soldier to be found quickly and unharmed – either right before Shabbos or right after Shabbos – depending on when you read this email.

I hope all is well rested and were also feelings of our family in the IDF or home makers in isrel my feeling is we just have to work on our selves to be the best we can be. Myself for a example when im haveing a hard day with what ever one morning I didnt get around to see people becouse a email I checked in the morning got me in a soso mood and I wasnt sure if the worlds ready for me to come out in a low mood (its catchy sometime). Theres 2 ways, misrable or try could be very hard to look past it and say to your self today I only want to make a kiddush Hashem, try it for the rest of the day I can tell you if you do it whole hartly BE”H is going to be very fulfiling. another is well my day started off like that so if thats my day I got to do it now with saying that it all comes from the one abouve blessed should he always be.
