Due to the reports of a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Israeli Arab citizens are busy collecting to deliver aid to their brethren in Gaza.
Organizers explain Gazans are lacking the most basic items and they are organizing shipments which are being sent to Gaza via the Kerem Shalom Crossing.
“Gaza residents are blockaded for years and live under harsh conditions. They lack the most basic essentials. We the young Arabs from around Israel have set up an organization a year ago to assist sick Palestinians from Gaza that are hospitalized in Israel. We arrange activities, visits and trips in Israel. Due to the situation today, we have decided to collect to bring necessities to Gazans, items like sugar, flour and oil” an organizer of Anina explains.
The organization operates primarily via Facebook to spread the word that assistance is required. Organizers explain in the beginning it was problematic to get trucks with goods over the Kerem Shalom Crossing but MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi intervened and now the trucks flow without impediment.
Speaking of the “total destruction in Gaza”, the organization is receiving donations from private individuals and companies.

I can understand their concerns for innocent civilians, but how will they make sure that Hamas wont grab it for themselves?
Only the naive think this will go to feed anyone in Gaza besides Hamas.
