I am also a Kanoi, and in light to what happened there this week with a frum soldier being assaulted and denied entry to the shul by a NK fanatic, I would hope that this rally will be successful in re-uniting the city. But bringing along the israeli flags unfortunately they defeated the purpose.
I am NOT a Kanoi to either side.
A flag bothers you & sets u off. How do u enter office bldgs, stores or ride the transit system in Israel where so many flags are in view. There is a hard & horrific war being faced for the survival of Israel & a flag annoys you??? Either u support respect for Yiddim or u don’t? Just do not understand how an Israeli flag sways you one way or other.
For some knowledge, in the 1950 thru 1990 most shuls had an Israeli & American flag hanging in their lobby. Plus most Yeshiva dinners displayed both & even sang Hatikvah, with Gedolim & Rabbonim present.
