The 25-year-old victim of a shooting attack in the Shomron remains in moderate-to-serious condition. The attack occurred at Rechalim Junction not too far from Ariel in Shomron. The attack occurred on the night between Monday night and Tuesday, 24 Tammuz. The victim, David Rust, was targeted with gunfire as he stood waiting for a ride by gunmen in a drive-by vehicle.
The victim was transported by a MDA paramedic unit to Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah with a gunshot wound to his upper torso. David’s father told reporters that they have been living in the Shomron for 25 years and this incident it not about to weaken their resolve and commitment to the area. He added “We thank HKBH that David’s condition continues to improve”.
