Three Arabs got into a MDA ambulance parked on the sidewalk on Bar Kochba Street in Bnei Brak, attempting to carjack the vehicle from the MDA driver. The driver’s calm actions led to their apprehension, which involved members of the local Shomrim organization.

The assailants fled but the driver alerted the Shomrim and the three were apprehended after a short chase. The three were handed over to police. Police are not ruling out they wanted to use the ambulance for a terror attack.
