Volunteers from Ichud Hatzalah’s Ashdod and Ashkelon branches decided to take a break to bring a smile to the face of some of the soldiers in a southern base near the Gaza border. These soldiers are preparing for a possible ground forces incursion into Gaza. They brought packages of treats for the soldiers along with Sifrei Tehillim.
Yinon Azoulai who heads the Ashdod district adds “The volunteers used a fortified ambulance to reach the base to show support for the soldiers. It was an emotional meet”.

So the chareidim are not such parasites after all – hopefully all the soldiers (and civilians) will use their Tehilim to daven for Hashem’s help that all should come back quickly unharmed.
